After more than 33 years in the beauty industry — and more than 30 of those years at Julians — I still love that there is always something new to learn.

Behind the chair, I’m known for dimensional color, highlighting, grey blending, and creating hair that feels beautiful, wearable, and uniquely you. But over the years, my curiosity about what was happening beneath the hair led me much deeper.

I am now a Certified Trichologist and Board Certified Functional Wellness Practitioner, with additional education in functional genomics and epigenetics, HTMA/mineral wellness, nutrition, fitness, and menopause support. My continued study focuses on the connection between hair and scalp changes, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle, and overall wellness.

That passion also led me to create Elemental Strands, where I’m developing education and tools designed to help both clients and beauty professionals better understand hair loss, scalp health, and the many factors that can influence the hair we see behind the chair.

Even with everything I’ve added to my career, the heart of what I do hasn’t changed. I love making people feel good, helping them understand their hair, and continuing to learn so I can serve them better.

Outside of the salon, I’m a proud mom of two amazing young men. And after all these years, I still feel incredibly lucky to spend my days doing what I love alongside a wonderful group of women. 💕
